Welcome to the Customs Information Guide (CIG)!

This system was developed by the United Nations Joint Logistics Centre (UNJLC).

Its purpose is to facilitate and promote the sharing of information of duties and taxes exemption and of customs clearance in relation to the importation and transit of humanitarian aid consignments.

The CIG is a practical country-by-country online information system for anyone involved in the cross border movement of humanitarian aid.

How does it work?

To start, select a country from the drop-down menu on the left or from the 'Related Content' box below.  You will be able to obtain 'public' information.  If you wish to access the secure database, please log-in on the left beforehand (participant organizations only).

Note: The majority of information in the CIG is considered 'public'.  However, the CIG contains some information that is specific to humanitarian organization partners.  If you are with a partner and would like to have access to your organization-specific information, please contact your customs focal point or send an email to customs@unjlc.org.  This access is restricted to those with partner organizations.
